October 2nd, already?!?!
I am so excited that the fall has arrived. Crisp mornings, cozy evenings, Thanksgiving and pumpkin patch trips are just a few of the many reasons why I absolutely love the fall, especially October.
I have to say, this October is a busy month for me now that I’m a University student. Midterms, going home for Thanksgiving and trying to enjoy some Halloween activities are among the mix of things I will be doing this month. But when you love October as much as I do, you will find a way to fit everything into your schedule!
I’ve also decided that this month I am going to try my hardest to keep consistent with blog posts. As often as possible this month I will be sharing with you all my favourite things that have to do with the fall! Style ideas, fall activities, seasonal recipes and much more is on it’s way this month!
For my first October related post I thought I would share with you all my favourite trail mix with a twist for Halloween! Keep in mind that there is no exact amounts I’ve used and any substitutes can be made for allergies and/or preference.
First, I divided each part of the trail mix into separate bowls.
Sometimes it’s hard to resist while photographing…
- Roasted, salted peanuts. I chose salted to create a salty but sweet flavour!
- Roasted, unsalted cashews.
- Roasted, unsalted almonds.
- Dried cranberries.
- Halloween edition Smarties.

The last step is to mix all the ingredients and put in a bowl to enjoy!!
